About English/Japanese Corner

To create an internationalized environment on campus and to boost the opportunity for practicing foreign languages so as to inspire students’ learning drive, our school therefore established the International House in March of 2008. An English/Japanese Corner was set up on the third floor as an all-English, all-Japanese social gathering floor while Yummy Café, run by a previous graduate of ours, was set up on the second floor. The café recruited foreign students as servers to encourage patrons ordering in English. The objectives are to provide students with a relaxed and comfortable background for practicing foreign languages through informal conversations, and to attract students to participate various programs and activities sponsored by the English/Japanese Corner.

キャンパスの国際化推進のため、学生の外国語使用のチャンスを増やし、ならびに外国語学習に対する動機を促進するため、本学は2008年3月に「國際學生聯誼中心」（インターナショナル・ハウス）を設立しました。当ハウスの三階には、English/Japanese コーナーを設け、英語または日本語のみで交流する空間を提供し、また二階にある本学卒業生経営の「ヤミーカフェ」では、外国人アルバイトの学生が英語で注文を受けています。よって、学生は温かい雰囲気の中、チャット方式で気楽に英語または日本語を学習することができ、E/Jコーナーで様々なイべントが楽しめます。（日譯：加藤稔人/許筱婷）

關於 EJ Corner

為永續經營國際化校園環境，增加學生使用外語機會及提昇學生學習外語動力，學校於97 年3月成立了國際學生聯誼中心〈International House〉。並於該中心三樓設置English /Japanese Corner的全英語或日語交流活動場所；二樓則是由本校畢業生承攬經營的YUMMY CAFÉ聘用外籍工讀學生帶動英語點餐，目的是希望藉由聊天的方式，讓學生在溫馨的氣氛中輕鬆學習英、日語，並樂於參加E/J Corner精心規劃的各式英、日語交流活動。
